The project has been running some months now and, while no new announcements have been made on this site until now [sorry about that], a great deal of work has been going on in the background:
Project Scope
We have decided to broaden the scope of the project to include other climate rebalancing activities and Sustainable Development Goals. This is because much progress can be made when, for instance, the growing and processing of industrial hemp is combined with the production and use of biochar. Also, there are many other varieties of plants and natural resources that can and do all play a part in restoring and regenerating our world, and we should be making the most of them all.
Toolkit
The Toolkit is almost ready for general use, though has taken a lot longer than first planned. It's a surprising amount of work [even after twenty six years of web and information services] to make something very complicated and advanced, that is at the same time simple, intuitive and easy to use, but we're getting there...
New Sections Coming Soon
Project Proposals
This section is where new project proposals will be posted which are in alignment with both the Seventeen Sustainable Development Goals, and the Individual Nationally Determined Contributions which are published by country, and outline the commitments they agree to make in order to reduce national emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change.
The proposals will be clearly set out and be downloadable in PDF form.
While the initial projects will be produced by Aotea Global and Country Partners, proposals from other organisations will be most welcome, and it is our intention that investors will see these valid and workable proposals and make their investments, thus enabling the projects to become real.
Partners Directory
This section is for suppliers of everything and everyone including seeds, machinery, fertilisers, technical solutions, services, investments, banking services, land, organisations, consultants, skills and knowledge who share the common aims of the Climate Crisis Team.
Partners will be able to showcase their companies and organisations, and present their products and services to others seeking same.
The first stage of this initiative is where we are now - a basic framework with which to contact people and organisations who can contribute by skill, resource, ideas, and any other method or way to collectively work on industrial hemp growing projects, and ultimately to get CO2 out of the atmosphere and back in the ground or locked up in some way.
Please excuse any parts of the site which seem to be lacking or missing something. The main thing is to have a working system as quickly as possible and more content will be added soon.
Second Stage:
The second stage is to build all the collaboration tools.
This part of the site will have a completely different appearance. Everything about it will be built to work at lightning speed and work perfectly on mobile devices. Especially important for areas where internet connections are slow and busy people just need to get things done.
Third Stage:
Work with African Nations to make hemp growing projects happen in their countries.
